Equipment Reservation

The Equipment Reservation application is part of UT’s College of Communication Usher Portal. Used to house every-day applications for faculty, staff, and students of the college.

Equipment Reservation System

Equipment Reservation allows users to search from several equipment checkout collections with a wide variety of filters. It checks for authorization to reserve each item as well as the items availability for the time frame selected. Users can adjust their checkout time and view each items availability in a timeline view. Additional they can:

  • View Reservation History
  • Cancel a Reservation
  • View overdue reservations
  • Add items from a previous reservation into a new reservation
  • View detailed description of items and images

Administration

Equipment Reservation Administration allows managers and staff to facilitate their every-day check-in and check-out of reservations. Other features include:

  • User Management
  • Item Management
  • Create new reservations for immediate or future checkout
  • Manage existing reservations to check in or cancel single items, and add additional items to a reservation
  • A wide variety of reports
  • Ability to update custom messaging
  • Take items out of service for repair, or disposed items sent to auction
